This week I have sheep for you, not just any old sheep – “smiley” sheep. I read a news report on the BBC website about the Lake District’s famous residents – Hardwick sheep.
If you like animals, if you are interested in Beatrix Potter, if you love the Lake District – then this will make you smile as much as the sheep!
It is too long since we have been there, but one of my favourite places in the whole of England is in the Lake Distract. My legs ached from all the walking we did, but all the pain was worth it for the views.
I don’t have enough photos from our trips. Probably because I was so shattered by the time we reached the top of the Peaks, I could not even hold my camera up.
