Tuesday News

In a world that is full of anxiety and sadness, nature just keeps on producing reasons to smile. One of the most cheerful news reports during the past week was the videos from Washington’s Smithsonian National Zoo.

It’s not just us that go wild when it snows – pandas do too!

I first saw this video on the BBC News, where they have set the frolics of the pandas to music. Love it!

Saturday Snaps

It’s cool looking at the pictures that other people post on their blogs – travel and nature pictures. I don’t have a great camera, but I have tried to snap some things over the years. Viewing what other people feature has given me the idea to trawl through my holiday snaps and see what I can find.

I found about twenty photos of this bird – heron I think. We were walking through the park and this guy was stood feeding tiny fish to the heron. It was taking them right out of his hand. We videoed the heron as it wandered around the park throughout people, totally cool, not freaked out by all the people who wanted to take a picture.

During 2021 I Will…

I have a written down a few of the lessons 2020 taught me and I don’t want to forget them during the year to come. My first priority is learning more about nature and the Creator.

Wonder and peace have descended on me since I have been out walking in the woods and parks in London this past nine months. I don’t want to lose that.

I’m looking out for the latest Attenborough documentary on the BBC – “A Perfect Planet”. I’m a big fan of these shows.
