The photo I have chosen from collection is one of the many I took when we toured the slave trade exhibition at the Maritime Museum up in Liverpool.
It is over two hundred years since the Act for the Abolition of the Slave Trade was passed, and yet look at this photo in the same exhibition:
WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE? 
Slavery is still very much in operation. We have to do training at work showing the figures of people who are essentially “slaves” around the world and it is horrid – absolutely staggering.
The world economic system is layered with corruption and abuse and mercilessly taking advantage of others.

I know it well – I grew up near Liverpool. We frequently visited the Maritime Museum – very special exhibition on the slave trade.
